Urgent Role – Full Stack PHP - Technical Lead
Location – Carlsbad, CA(initial remote)
Required Experience: 10+ years
 
Who are we looking for?
Looking for a PHP full stack Technical Lead, with at least 7-10 years working experience in Microservices and PHP. Extensive backend and UI/ Web development experience is needed. Thorough understanding of OOPS.
Responsibilities:
·         As a Technical Lead, you will understand business requirement, convert it in technical specification, provide technical solutions to build web applications and features with a customer-centric and product focus
·         Collaborate closely with product managers and designers, providing estimates or product ideas that will influence the team's roadmap
·         Works with stakeholders and other teams to suggest the best tools and practices for platform scalability, performance, speed, and web accessibility.
·         Review and analyze existing system structures to provide solutions to enhance and improve systems, making assignments to team members.
·         Review project specifications, flow charts, process diagrams and systems documentations
·         Identify technology limitations and deficiencies in existing system/database structure and suggesting improvements
·         As a Technical lead, you will work with development team and improve on code optimization, experiment, and use data to drive decision-making
·         MUST Have hands on experience in writing quality and well-documented code, automated unit tests, primarily in PHP and Javascript
·         Participating and resolving bugs reported by QA
·         Exploring and Integrating third party components as needed
·         Lead the team and mentor other team members
 
Technical Skills:
Must Have:
Ø  PHP with MVC knowledge
Ø  Knowledge of Zend Framework
Ø  Java Script, Bootstrap, JQuery
Ø  Springboot, Microservices and Restful services
Ø  Node.js
Ø  Git, JIRA/ TFS
Ø  My SQL
Good to Have:
Ø  JSON, XML
Ø  Apache
Ø  CentOS
Ø  Experience of AWS
Ø  PHP certifications
 
Process Skills:
o   Self-motivated, proactive and engaged attitude
o   Experience developing in object-oriented design and LAMP distributed systems
o   Understanding of AWS architecture and services, including EC2, S3, RDS, ElastiCache, and VPCs
o   Basic understanding of best practices for security while coding
o   Experience using Git/branching in a team environment
o   Strong MySQL knowledge (table design, complex query creation, best practices)
o   Solid debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills
o   Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner through all levels of the organization
o   Agile development processes
o   Scrum
o   Proven experience in delivering complex software solutions
o   Insurance domain experience is plus
