Candidate in this role will be responsible for leading and performing Network Security related activities. In this role, the candidate will act as a trusted advisor, applying consulting methodologies and industry knowledge to drive transformation and provide value to client. These engagements encompass the full end to end cycle, from initial client engagement, through assessments and road-mapping, to longer term engagement in an advisory capacity.
 
Key Responsibilities

1. Work with the client to understand the business requirements and translate them into Network Security requirements
2. Design, develop and implement network security solutions, plans, policies, and procedures
3. Identify challenges in deployed solutions and troubleshoot by working with various other IT teams
4. Management, administration & maintenance of security devices including but not limited to Proxy, Firewall, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Intrusion Detection System (IDS), VPN Concentrators, Network Access Control (NAC)
5. Identify and report on metrics to ensure efficient use of the network security services
6. Work with SOC team to configure use cases for proactive network security detection
7. Effectively aid in incident management activities by working with SOC and other incident response teams
8. Create and present reports to client stakeholders on periodic basis

 Must Have

1. College Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 7+ years of dedicated experience in security with at least 2 years in a similar role.
2. Experience with Network and Network Security tools administration across more than one product vendor (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, etc.)
3. Hands-on experience with Proxy, Firewall, IPS, IDS, technologies
4. Experience in the following products
   • Cisco Firepower
   • Cisco ASA
   • Cisco ISE
   • Palo Alto Firewall
5. Experience in network troubleshooting using tools like WireShark, etc.
6. Knowledge of log management and integration with SIEM/SOC
7. Knowledge in integration with Two Factor Authentication and Single Sign On solutions

 
Nice to Have

1. Experience in Network Segmentation – design, implementation, and management
2. Experience in deployment of network security tools and technologies in any public cloud – AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, etc.
