Job Description
- The IT Support is responsible for providing technical support to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurants IT systems, with a particular focus on Petpooja software.
- This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and assisting staff with technical problems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support:
- Provide first-line support for all IT-related issues, including POS systems, computers, networks, and software applications.
- Respond to support requests in a timely manner and resolve technical problems.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software, including Petpooja software.
- Implement and manage Petpooja software for restaurant operations.
- Train staff on the use of Petpooja software and ensure its effective utilization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Petpooja software.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Provide training and support to restaurant staff on the use of IT systems and software.
- Create and maintain user guides and documentation.
- Assist with the management and maintenance of the restaurant’s network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure network security.
- Support the implementation of network upgrades and improvements.
- Implement and maintain data security protocols to protect sensitive information.
- Conduct regular backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place.
- Monitor for security breaches and respond to incidents promptly.
- Work closely with the Marketing Department and other departments to support IT initiatives.
- Coordinate with external vendors for technical support and equipment procurement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry. Familiarity with Petpooja software is highly desirable.
