• Experience working for Data Engineering/Data Migration projects in building ETL pipelines
• Datawarehouse, Data modeling, Building data pipe-lines
• ETL/ELT technologies (DBT/Fivetran/Informatica/Talend/DBT etc)
• Building real-time data pipeline/streaming in Cloud DB platforms (Specifically in BigQuery)
• SAP Hana Development in building end to end data pipeline in DWH environments
• Strong SQL, Python for Data Engineering and Data Science
• Domain/business knowledge on Finance/Sales/Bookings/Revenue/Install Base/Support Services are preferred
• Outstanding analytical thinking and aptitude
• Certification in Data Engineering tool kits and/or Cloud Technology stack are a plus

• Expected Work
• Work with multiple complex data sets to accelerate the platform modernization journey for the customer
• Understand the functional aspects of the existing applications hosted in Hana and migrate them to BigQuery
• Build/understand the end-to-end data lineage in Hana, come up with the plans
• Convert the code from Hana to Big Query, Build the pipe-line using DBT, native Big Query options
• Convert the Hana specific objects to Big Query - meet the performance SLAs as same as Hana in BigQuery
• Develop, perform Data Parity, Data Validity & Performance testing b/w On-Prem and Cloud platforms at various levels
• Demonstrate higher level of engineering excellence though out the development process
• Be part of the development team, responsible for the quality of its technical & functional deliverables
• Come up new ideas to drive data engineering excellence to build various data sets, real-time data pipeline, consumption layer for analytical use cases
• Lead a development team, and responsible for the quality of its deliverables
• Learn the business specific functionalities and other technical upgrades quickly and adopt to the changes
• Identify and prioritize business and technical requirements using agile methodologies
• Work with a variety of product owners, scrum masters and development teams across different time zones
